David Bellastrasse took his Pua (black Hawaiian boar) on the Island of Maui with his 1886 deluxe extra light takedown .45-70 GOV’T.

Trey Whitley used a .45-70 GOV’T takedown, extra light weight Model 1886 with the rare 20-inch barrel length to down this Texas feral hog.

 

Toby Hildabrand, who lives near Nashville, TN, took this Corsican ram with a Winchester Model 1895 in .30-40 Krag.  Most of the stalk was recorded on video.  Toby fired from around 25 yards to down this trophy.

 

Steve Comer and his nice prize-winning Russian boar.  Steve, who lives in Fall City, WA, nailed this big boy (249 pounds) with a Winchester Model 71 in .348 WCF.

 

This Russian boar was taken at close range in the mountains near Madras, Oregon.  Bob Berkey, of Enumclaw, WA, used his Winchester 1886 in .33 WCF.  This boar treed the hunter before he could get a good clean shot.

 

Maui, Hawaii is where this black Pua was taken by Ralph Tuttle using an engraved 1886 Winchester in .33 WCF.  He missed twice as it ran through the lava rock and brush, but the third shot took the boar down.
