About Us

The RooseveltBrowning Hunting Club was organized to honor Theodore Roosevelt for his contributions to hunting, conservation, and sportsmanship; and ingenious gun maker John M. Browning for his one-of-a-kind contributions to the firearms industry.

The purpose of the RooseveltBrowning Club is to keep records of trophy big game animals pursued under "fair chase" and taken by a rifle or shotgun determined by this organization's definition of a CLASSIC firearm and cartridge. (Webster's definition of classic is: "of highest class; most representative of the excellence of its kind: having recognized worth.")

The intent of the RooseveltBrowning Club is to challenge your hunting skills and allow you the fun of hunting with that old treasure. If you are a "classic" hunter, you are a conservationist and a safer hunter; you use a firearm that represents sportsmanship during a time when technology is overshadowing the human element of hunting.
